Art
Art for spaces with character.
After years of working mainly digitally, I am returning to painting. I am experimenting with acrylics and looking for my own direction.
My story
Returning to painting.
Art has been part of my life for a long time. I went to a private art high school in Poland, where I learned to paint and draw and became increasingly interested in art. I also helped prepare exhibitions by artists from Kraków that were held at our school.
Later, I barely painted for many years. When I felt the need to make something, I usually sketched. Then Photoshop came into my life and became my main creative tool for a long time: I drew, coloured, made photobashes and, above all, edited photographs.
Recently, I have increasingly wanted to return to something more physical: paint, canvas and working with my hands. I am experimenting with acrylics again, I am also interested in mixed media, and after years of working mainly digitally I am looking for my own direction.

Current work
GROK
This is the first painting I completed after returning to painting. The canvas has a story too: I found it in the basement, in an area where neighbours leave things they no longer need. There was already a painting on it that I did not like. I did not want the canvas to end up in the bin, so I primed it again, painted over the previous work and decided to give it a second life.
AI is currently a major part of what I work on and think about, and it is one of the most relevant subjects for me right now. That is why artificial intelligence naturally became the subject of this painting — specifically Grok.
The small stick figure in the bottom-left corner represents the human being. In relation to it, AI appears enormous, dominant and clearly more powerful.
I did not want to present it clearly as something good or bad. The painting should leave a slight sense of unease and a question: are we looking at something that will help us, or at something that will become bigger than us over time?
What comes next
I do not have a fixed plan yet.
I do not yet know exactly where this part of KOS-MOS will go. I am experimenting with acrylics again, I am interested in mixed media, and after years of working mainly digitally I am looking for my own direction.
I do not want to force ‘collections’ into existence before the work is actually there. I will simply add more finished pieces here as I complete them.
