Core idea
MetaMORFS treats ordinary barcodes as resonance keys. A specialized scanner reads their signatures and reconstructs modular lifeforms called Morfis in our world. The same barcode and scanner pool reveal the same Morfi, but every materialization is unstable. Time, training and the choices passed to a new generation matter more than endless possession.
A real barcode and the selected scanner pool become a deterministic key for one Morfi.
Its lifetime continues in real time, including while the player is away.
Training can improve abilities, but it costs time and is designed to carry risks.
Planned structured tournaments reward preparation and composition rather than frantic inputs.
Two Morfis can shape a new generation whose possibilities carry earlier decisions forward.
What are Morfis?
Morfis are not ordinary animals or random monsters. They are modular, deterministic lifeforms whose patterns originate in the Interference Field. A scanner reconstructs those patterns as a temporary physical presence in our world.
Defines the material form and the Morfi's fundamental properties.
A separate functional module that shapes combat style and abilities.
An energy state and modifier, not a conventional elemental type.

Archivist. Guide. Professional pessimist.
Nibble is a red, one-eyed crab, but he is not a Morfi. His natural body does not follow the modular structure of Body, Head and Aura. Connected to the Interference Field, he guides players through MetaMORFS: usually helpful, occasionally sarcastic and almost always convinced he already knows the answer. His exact origin remains part of the mystery.
You call it a barcode. I call it a key.
Game principles
Real barcodes become resonance keys for reproducible Morfis. The same code within the same scanner pool reconstructs the same combination of Body, Head and Aura.
Morfis are designed to age in real time, including offline. Their limited lifetime gives every choice a cost and makes letting go part of the game.
Training is intended to improve a Morfi without becoming a free, endless loop. It takes time and can introduce risk, forcing deliberate priorities.
Planned tournaments focus on preparation, combinations and consequences. The goal is considered strategy rather than frantic action; the wider tournament lore is still evolving.
Fusion is planned as a new generation, not simple power stacking. Training, compatible combinations and earlier choices shape what the successors can become.
MetaMORFS is designed without pay-to-win or manipulative lootbox loops. Decisions should carry weight while the game respects the player's time and attention.

Systems under development
A scanner reads real codes as resonance keys instead of creating creatures at random.
The same barcode and scanner pool can reconstruct the same Body, Head and Aura.
Real-time aging is intended to make time meaningful, including between play sessions.
Planned training trades limited lifetime for growth, risk and deliberate specialization.
A developing legacy system lets previous generations influence future possibilities.
A planned reserve system could protect selected Morfis from active-time pressure.
Limited scanner use is being explored as a readable strategic constraint.
The interface is being designed around Android as the first platform.

Comic and worldbuilding
Together with Nibble, readers discover the Interference Field, scanner technology and clues about the origin of the Morfis. The comic expands the world without fixing every mystery into canon too early.
